Rosco and Bridget have worked on high profile, technologically advanced yachts, offering exceptional levels of service, cuisine and sailing adventure within the superyacht and professional racing circuit.
Highly regarded on the professional race circuit as a successful navigator and electronics specialist, Rosco was involved in the 05/06 Volvo Ocean Race with the Pirates of the Caribbean as well as being the navigator for the supermaxi ICAP Leopard. He also holds 11 world speed mono-hull sailing records, including the current course record for the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Heineken Cape town to Bahia Race.
More recently, Rosco has been employed on high profile Superyachts such as the Brenta designed yacht 'Ghost' and the Huisman built Unfurled, delivering the consummate levels of guest care he continues to emulate on board AIYANA. An experienced Captain with a commercially endorsed MCA Yachtmaster Ocean certification, Rosco allows you to feel at ease in any situation on the water. He is also a PADI Advanced Diver so whether you want to enjoy an exhilarating sail, explore the underwater world or simply relax and sip a cocktail, Rosco looks forward to making your AIYANA dream a reality.
Your chef onboard is Bridget, who after leaving a successful Investment Banking career went onto follow her passion for food and aspirations to work onboard luxury yachts. She trained at the acclaimed Rosie Davies Cookery School and since beginning as a yacht chef, has been lucky enough to expand her culinary skills on a number of high profile superyachts as the full time chef on Ghost, Unfurled and the prestigious J-class yacht Velsheda.
Bridget loves to experiment with fresh local produce and has a flair for creating innovative menus from whatever ingredients have caught her eye in the market that day. She is able to offer a wide range of different cuisines, but is mainly influenced by Mediterranean and Asian techniques throughout much of her cooking style. Her favourite part of the job is chatting with guests to understand individual tastes and incorporating these into tempting dishes each day.
Bridget takes pride in ensuring that every aspect of the guest's needs and desires are fulfilled without compromise and armed with her MCA Yachtmaster Ocean certification, your safety and comfort is always her top priority, above as well as below deck. The combined experience from this team will ensure every guest onboard AIYANA enjoys a fabulous adventure, wherever in the world you decide to cruise.
